1. Dr. Rosenberg was arrested March 12; the same day made his initial court appearance.
2. Investigators allege Dr. Rosenberg billed various insurance companies, including the state’s Medicaid program Denti-Cal, for multiple dental procedures he never performed.
3. Dr. Rosenberg allegedly billed the insurance companies using patients’ identification without their knowledge or consent.
4. The Fraud Section investigated him. The Medicare Fraud Strike Force has charged more than 3,500 defendants who’ve billed Medicaid for more than $12.5 billion since its inception in 2007.
