The National Institute of General Medical Sciences, a branch of the National Institutes of Health, provided the five-year grant, which will help the museum and dental school launch “A Mouthful of History.” The project includes disseminating online educational modules to students in pre-K through 12th grade nationwide, according to a July 18 news release.

This is the first NIH grant the dental museum has received.

At the Becker's 5th Annual Future of Dentistry Roundtable, taking place September 14-15 in Chicago, dental leaders and executives will gain insights into emerging technologies, practice growth strategies and the evolving landscape of dental care delivery, with a focus on innovation, patient experience and operational excellence.
