The email reportedly has “Terry Recovery” in the subject line, appears to be coming from the association’s email domain and includes an association logo. The email claims that an association member has a terminally ill child and asks for donations via a GoFundMe page called “Terry Recovery Journey.”
GoFundMe and PayPal have disabled the account.
