The practice informed patients that it was declaring bankruptcy through text messaging and was closing due to personal and financial reasons.

Jason Horn, DDS, the orthodontist and owner of the practice, told patients he would not be able to offer care but would provide records to new orthodontists.

Dr. Horn also said that he would not be able to reimburse patients, even those that paid in full or in advance, the report said.

At the Becker's 5th Annual Future of Dentistry Roundtable, taking place November 12–14 in Chicago, dental leaders and executives will gain insights into emerging technologies, practice growth strategies and the evolving landscape of dental care delivery, with a focus on innovation, patient experience and operational excellence.
