A woman in Yukon, Okla., is wanted for practicing dental hygiene without a license, according to a Sept. 2 report from KFOR.
Christy Perkowski worked at Oklahoma Dental in Yukon. Her dental hygiene license expired in 2020, but she continued working with patients from 2021 to 2025, according to the Oklahoma Board of Dentistry.
In addition, the board alleges Ms. Perkowski forged dental licenses in 2022 and 2024 to continue working at the practice.
The Oklahoma Board of Dentistry became aware of the case in April, and a warrant was issued for Ms. Perkowski’s arrest in August.
Ms. Perkowski faces five counts of practicing dental hygiene without a license and two for uttering a forged instrument, the report said.
