Students and faculty in the dental program will have access to real-time data, providing students with experience and exposure to the technology, according to a Feb. 21 news release.
The system will also be made available to dental practices affiliated with the university through the HPU Oral Health Network.
Pacific Dental Services have implemented Epic into all the DSO’s more than 900 affiliated practices, which has led to improved collaboration between providers, early detection of systemic conditions and enhanced the patient experience, the release said.
The partnership marks the first between a DSO and dental school through Epic’s Community Connect program.
