The company plans to open various SmileShops in Germany to increase its presence throughout the European Union. SmileDirectClub went international this year, bringing its network of 250 affiliated dentists and orthodontists to Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland and the U.K.
Licensed German dentists will create and prescribe the clear aligners to patients. To date, SmileDirectClub has treated more than 750,000 consumers since it’s launch in 2014.
