Brenon Farmer, DDS, opened Countryside Dental to help low-income patients receive affordable care. However, Dr. Farmer had to file for bankruptcy because the low-cost model for dental care was no longer financially viable, KSFY reports.
One patient said he had received a call July 22 that his appointment with Dr. Farmer needed to be canceled. However, the patient said he never heard back from the practice. Through word of mouth the patient had learned that the practice had closed.
Dr. Farmer has also moved because of alleged threating phone calls he and his family have received, KSFY reports.
Currently, there is a for sale sign in the window of Countryside Dental, KSFY reports.
