A Texas man was given probation for practicing dentistry without a license, myrgv.com reported Dec. 9.
Gerardo Casas, 50, pleaded guilty to three counts of dentistry act violations Dec. 8 and was sentenced to deferred adjudication. He also must pay $3,600 in restitution to his victims.
Mr. Casas was arrested in March after being accused of performing tooth removals and measuring for dentures on three individuals.
