Laredo police arrested Esthela Guzman Hernandez after receiving a report that an individual received a root canal from Ms. Guzman Hernandez in an apartment.
When searching the apartment, police found a dentist bed and chair, dentistry tools and equipment, compressors, an X-ray machine, scheduling journals and patient files, the report said.
Ms. Guzman Hernandez was charged with violating the Texas Dentistry Act and has a bond of $50,000.
