As part of the updates, the clinic added four rooms that will allow it to serve up to 8,000 patients each year.

The renovations were funded using donations from the Virginia Health Care Foundation, Fishersville, Va.-based Augusta Health and the Delta Dental Foundation of Virginia.

The dental clinic serves Medicaid recipients and uninsured patients from Waynesboro, Staunton and Augusta County. The clinic is also part of a state pilot program aimed at enhancing care for patients with disabilities.

At the Becker's 5th Annual Future of Dentistry Roundtable, taking place November 12–14 in Chicago, dental leaders and executives will gain insights into emerging technologies, practice growth strategies and the evolving landscape of dental care delivery, with a focus on innovation, patient experience and operational excellence.
