Park Dental, a dental practice in Roanoke, Va., has provided notice of a data security incident.
Between June 10 and July 22, 2026, an unknown actor obtained unauthorized access to the practice’s network. The affected environment included access to information maintained in office email and Park Dental’s patient record and practice-management systems, according to a notice from the practice posted Sept. 18.
Information that may have been affected includes names, mailing addresses, telephone numbers, email addresses, dates of birth, patient charts, dental X-rays and related imaging, and insurance and billing information.
Forensic reports found no indication that patient data was exfiltrated or taken from Park Dental’s networks, the notice said.
