Farmville (Va.) Dental has reopened months after a fire damaged its building, The Farmville Herald reported March 5.
The practice suffered a fire in July, which revealed structural and operational issues in the building that required extensive work. The practice experienced several delays with reopening due to the amount of repairs needed.
The renovated practice now includes updated technology that allows it to expand its services. The practice also expanded its staff to tend to the backlog of patients, including two new dental assistants, full-time hygienists and several dentists.
At the Becker's 5th Annual Future of Dentistry Roundtable, taking place September 14-15 in Chicago, dental leaders and executives will gain insights into emerging technologies, practice growth strategies and the evolving landscape of dental care delivery, with a focus on innovation, patient experience and operational excellence.
