A dentist in Follansbee, W.Va., is planning to retire at the end of the year after more than 40 years of service, according to a Dec. 15 report from The Intelligencer

Michael Pipo, DDS, opened his first dental practice in 1986 before building his current office.

Over his nearly four decades of practice, he has seen more than 15,000 patients.

Dr. Pipo is donating his practice to the American Legion Post 45, the report said.
