Here are three updates to know on medical-dental integration and where the industry is moving forward, as reported by Becker’s so far this year:
- Researchers from the Indiana University School of Dentistry and the Regenstrief Institute in Indianapolis created an app to help connect dentists and medical providers with patient health information.
- Henderson, Nev.-based PDS Health launched PDS Health Technologies, expanding access to its technology, services and support. The program provides EHR capabilities to external organizations and providers through Epic Community Connect, giving access to a scalable model for EHR integration, according to an April 16 news release from the company.
- Katie Lee, DDS, opened an integrated medical-dental practice in Centennial, Colo.
