Here are three DSOs that have recently expanded their networks into new states:

1. Sacramento, Calif.-based Straine acquired its first practice in Idaho, marking its 17th state.

2. Salt Lake City-based Nuvia Dental Implant Center plans to open its first location in Rhode Island.

3. Chicago-based Phase 1 Equity added a multi-site orthodontic practice in North Dakota, its first in the state and its fourth addition in 2026 overall.
