Here are three notable DSO moves from the last two weeks, including office openings, partnerships and investments:
1. Minneapolis-based beBright acquired Pediatric Dentistry of Shreveport-Bossier, the largest affiliation in the DSO’s four year history. Pediatric Dentistry of Shreveport-Bossier has six locations, 10 pediatric dentists and more than 100 staff members across Louisiana.
2. Sarasota, Fla.-based Dental Care Alliance entered into an agreement with its existing lender group to reduce its debt by more than $1.1 billion and receive $95 million in new capital. In addition, the transaction extends DCA’s debt maturities to 2031. With its strengthened financial situation, Dental Care Alliance said it will improve practice support and meet its growth targets.
3. Dallas-based Ideal Dental opened its first location in Oklahoma through its joint venture program. The practice is led by Michael McCartor, DMD.
At the Becker's 5th Annual Future of Dentistry Roundtable, taking place September 14-15 in Chicago, dental leaders and executives will gain insights into emerging technologies, practice growth strategies and the evolving landscape of dental care delivery, with a focus on innovation, patient experience and operational excellence.
