Delta Dental of Minnesota selected Bemidji, Minn., as its location for a new operations and technology center, according to The Bemidji Pioneer.
Here are five insights:
1. Delta Dental expects the new center to cost between $12 million and $13 million. It will generate up to 150 new jobs.
2. Additionally, with the new center, Delta Dental will be one of the top 10 employers in Bemidji.
3. Delta Dental attributes the expansion to recent and projected membership growth, product offerings and technology infrastructure.
4. Minneapolis-based Delta Dental of Minnesota is the largest provider of dental benefits in the region.
5. Delta Dental provides benefits to more than 4 million members nationwide.
