East Syracuse, N.Y.-based Aspen Dental signed an agreement with Align Technology to equip all Aspen Dental practices with Align's iTero Element intraoral scanner.
Here are five highlights:
1. iTero Element scanners are designed to show patients what their smile will look like before choosing Invisalign, another Align product.
2. Align's iTero Element scanners are end-to-end digital technology that transmits the patient's 3D dental model immediately, allowing patients to make treatment decisions sooner.
3. Dentists can also use the iTero Element scanners in tooth restoration procedures, such as crowns, bridges, veneers as well as inlays and onlays.
4. Aspen Dental has nearly 700 practices in 38 states across the U.S., making it one of the largest dental service organizations.
5. Under the new partnership, dentists will be able to complete Invisalign training and offer the clear aligner treatment in Aspen Dental practices.
