Private investment-backed Ohio DSO makes new acquisition: 3 things to know

Cincinnati-based Cordental acquired Boain Dental Care in Florissant, Mo.

Three things to know:

1. John Boain, DDS, owns Boain Dental Care. A fellow of the American Academy of General Dentistry, Dr. Boain is a member of the Advanced Dental Implant Studies in Atlanta.

2. Cordental is backed by private investment firm NMS Capital, which specializes in strategic equity investments and leveraged buyouts of lower middle market companies.

3. The dental service organization provides support services to dental practices across the Mid-Atlantic, Midwest and Southeast.
