Pacific Dental Services expands into 22nd state

Irvine, Calif.-based Pacific Dental Services announced Nov. 12 the opening of its first supported practice in Illinois.

The new practice, Fairview Heights (Ill.) Dentistry, is led by Bryan Watanabe, DDS. Two other dentists, Akshay Vij, DDS, and Efrain Vargas, DDS, will also be practicing at the new PDS-supported office.

"We're excited to expand access to high-quality oral healthcare for patients in Illinois," said Stephen Thorne IV, founder and CEO of Pacific Dental Services. "Supporting dentists so they can keep their patients healthier and happier is the purpose of PDS. We're pleased to have this opportunity to help the patients in Fairview Heights receive the comprehensive oral healthcare they need and want."

With the new Illinois location, PDS supports practices in 22 states. In total, the dental service organization supports more than 750 dental offices across the country.
