Lake Success, N.Y.-based ProHealth Dental has opened its first CareMount Dental office through a clinical affiliation with Mount Kisco, N.Y.-based CareMount Medical, a multispecialty medical group, according to a July 6 news release obtained by Becker's.
The Mount Kisco-based practice Kids Are Great Dental is now a division of CareMount Dental. It specializes in pediatric dentistry and orthodontic services. The office is led by Gina Lodolini, DDS, Neil Capalongo, DDS, and Maritza Bianchi, DDS. The office will continue to serve existing patients and began accepting new patients under the CareMount Dental affiliation July 1.
ProHEALTH Dental is building another Mount Kisco office that will provide adult dental services, which is anticipated to open this fall.
The clinical affiliation is part of an effort to break down the barrier between medicine and dentistry, while educating the public about the importance of oral health as a key element of overall health. ProHEALTH Dental collectively provides dental services to over 3.5 million patients across 14 offices in New York and New Jersey.
