Dan Romary, formerly vice president of data analytics and enterprise applications, was promoted to chief information officer. In addition to leading the organization’s business intelligence team, Mr. Romary will work to advance technology for the DSO’s supported practices.

North American Dental Group also hired Jim Nelms to be its first chief information security officer. He most recently served in the same position for Labcorp, a Burlington, N.C.-based healthcare diagnostics company. Mr. Nelms will oversee the company’s cybersecurity and lead its IT infrastructure team.

North American Dental Group’s network includes more than 250 dental practices in 15 states.
