Sahara Health Group is led by Elena Garcia, MD, and operates out of the same building as Sahara Modern Dentistry, a multispecialty dental practice that opened in May 2021. Sahara Health Group started serving patients April 5, PDS said in an April 7 news release.
The new practice is a part of the DSO’s Mouth-Body Connection initiative to educate patients on the link between oral health and overall well-being. It also opened an integrated practice, Union Village Medical Group, in Henderson, Nev., in July 2021. The Henderson practice is also owned by Dr. Garcia.
