In 2019, Today’s Dental Network CEO Kevin Krause, DDS, partnered with Ryan Taylor, DDS, head of periodontics, and Karen Varone, DDS, head of orthodontics, to form the DSO.

The trio’s goal was to create full-service, multispecialty dental practice networks throughout central and southwest Florida.

Today’s Dental Network’s growth strategy includes growing within its current practices, acquisitions and de novo locations.

The DSO has two investor partners: Synergistic Capital and HealthEdge. Both private equity firms are initial investors in the company, and HealthEdge is an ongoing partner.

Some of the DSO’s most recent activity includes adding its second oral surgery partner to its network and expanding its pediatric services.

Today’s Dental Network currently has 29 locations.

At the Becker's 5th Annual Future of Dentistry Roundtable, taking place November 12–14 in Chicago, dental leaders and executives will gain insights into emerging technologies, practice growth strategies and the evolving landscape of dental care delivery, with a focus on innovation, patient experience and operational excellence.
