DSOs and other management services organizations aim to support the business operations of dental practices so dental practitioners can concentrate on patient care.
Several of these groups focus on adding dental practices to their networks that specialize in specific services, such as oral surgery, orthodontics and endodontics.

US Endo Partners (Irving, Texas): US Endo Partners supports 90 endodontic practices throughout the U.S. The company was founded in 2018 and is led by chair and CEO Scotte Hudsmith.
U.S. Oral Surgery Management (Irving, Texas): USOSM supports oral surgery practices in 19 states. The company was founded in 2017 and is led by President and CEO Rick Hall.
Specialty1 Partners (Houston): Specialty1 Partners is the parent company of Endo1 Partners, OS1 Partners and Perio1 Partners, serving the endodontics, oral surgery and periodontics markets. The brands give Specialty1 Partners a combined network of more than 280 specialists from more than 160 practices in 23 states.
Bond Orthodontic Partners (Frisco, Texas): Bond Orthodontic Partners launched in 2021 to connect with independent orthodontists in the Western U.S. The organization added its first partner in June. The company was founded by Azar Zaidi and Sheila Bracker, who serve as CEO and COO, respectively.
Smile Doctors (Georgetown, Texas): Smile Doctors is the largest orthodontics-focused DSO in the U.S., with more than 300 locations in 25 states. It was founded in 2015 and is led by CEO John Hedrick. In January, the DSO landed an investment from private equity firm Thomas H. Lee Partners.
