Below are four entrepreneurial DSOs to know, in alphabetical order:
Bond Orthodontic Partners (Frisco, Texas): Bond Orthodontic Partners is an orthodontic-focused partnership organization founded in 2021 by CEO Azar Zaidi and COO Sheila Bracker. It is backed by private equity group BPOC and has six practices in Idaho, California and Arizona.
Cal Dental USA. (Los Angeles): Cal Dental USA was founded in 2015 and is led by CEO John Kim, DDS. The DSO consists of four practices: Oxy Dental, Mac Dental, Cal Dental USA and Cal Dental of Atlantic.
Ssun Health (Parker, Colo.): Ssun Health was founded in 2018 by Eric Nuss. The dental partnership organization supports 11 practices throughout the Rocky Mountain, Southwest and Midwest regions.
Today’s Dental Network (Tampa, Fla.): In 2019, Today’s Dental Network CEO Kevin Krause, DDS, partnered with Ryan Taylor, DDS, head of periodontics, and Karen Varone, DDS, head of orthodontics, to form the DSO. Today’s Dental Network serves seven practices throughout Southwest Florida.
