Irvine, Calif.-based Smile Brands was recently recognized in the "Best Company Culture" and "Best CEO" categories for 2022 by Comparably.
Comparably's award recipients are selected using ratings given anonymously by company employees during a 12-month period, according to a Dec. 19 news release. Winners are then determined based on core culture metrics, including work-life balance and compensation.
CEO Steven Bilt co-founded the DSO in 1998.
"A great company culture doesn't just happen organically. For us, it starts with our mission to deliver Smiles for Everyone, and then is reinforced with every patient and team member interaction," Mr. Bilt said in the news release. "2022 has been a difficult year for many businesses who've struggled with high inflation and staff shortages, but our team has once again risen to the challenge, finding new ways to streamline care delivery and adopt the services our patients seek."
Smile Brands supports more than 650 affiliated offices in 30 states.
