Pacific Dental Services had a year full of growth, medical-dental integration advancements and milestones.
Here are some of Pacific Dental's highlights from 2022, according to a Jan. 6 news release from the DSO:
1. Pacific Dental and Fountain Valley, Calif.-based MemorialCare formed a joint venture to integrate dental and medical care, which included integrated electronic health records from Epic.
2. The DSO launched Sahara Health Group, an integrated medical-dental practice in Las Vegas.
3. Pacific Dental opened its 900th supported practice, Aspen Hill Modern Dentistry in Silver Spring, Md.
4. The DSO partnered with its 700th dental practice owner, Stacey Howes, DDS, of River Point Dental Group and Orthodontics in Sheridan, Colo.
5. Pacific Dental became the first DSO to integrate Epic's EHR into all supported dental practices.
6. The DSO saw 31 percent growth from 2020 to 2022.
