New Hyde Park, N.Y.-based Dental365 has teamed up with Dentognostics to integrate molecular technology SalivaScore into its preventative dental care routine for patients.
SalivaScore is a chairside test that can identify signs of periodontal disease before damages from the disease have developed, according to a news release shared with Becker's.
The test measures aMMP-8, an oral biomarker linked with oral and systemic tissue breakdown and the destruction of teeth and dental implants.
Dental365 supports practices across New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island.
