Here are 18 DSOs that have added or opened practices in the Western region of the U.S.:
1. Frisco, Texas-based Bond Orthodontic Partners added its first practices in Nevada and Washington. It also partnered with Wu Orthodontics in Palo Alto, Calif., and Kirk Orthodontics in Petaluma, Calif.
2. US Endo Partners added Clearwater Endodontics, which has locations in Clarkston, Wash., and Moscow, Idaho. It also partnered with 3D Endodontics in Renton, Wash., and Microsurgical Endodontics in Santa Barbara, Calif.
3. Scottsdale, Ariz.-based Imagen Dental Partners expanded its footprint in Oregon and California with the addition of Crane Mountain Dental to its network. It also added Northwest Dental in Corvallis, Ore., and Lake Dental in Palm Springs, Calif.
4. San Francisco-based Image Specialty Partners acquired Salem, Ore.-based Castilla Orthodontics.
5. Nashville, Tenn.-based Endodontic Practice Partners added 12 practices in Oregon and two in Washington.
6. Southlake, Texas-based Allied OMS added three practices in Colorado and Oregon.
7. Orange, Calif.-based Western Dental opened offices in Woodland, San Pedro, Oroville and Arroyo Grande, Calif.
8. Denver-based Espire Dental acquired Anderson Family Dental in Colorado Springs, Colo. It also acquired Fox Creek Family Dental, a five-location dental practice in Colorado, and La Costa Dental Group in Encinitas, Calif.
9. Chicago-based Aspen Dental opened its first Nevada office.
10. Tempe, Ariz.-based Gen4 Dental Partners added Las Vegas-based Wagner Dental and Las Cruces, N.M.-based Implant & Laser Periodontal Surgery Center to its network. It also added six partners in Utah and Peak Family Dental Care, which has three locations in Arizona.
11. Irvine, Calif.-based Pacific Dental Services opened Dentists of West Henderson in Nevada, a de novo location.
12. Carrollton, Texas-based MB2 Dental added Aloha Dental in Las Vegas and Aspire Dental in Henderson, Nev., led by Chris Capener, DDS.
13. Las Vegas-based Dee for Dentist added a second location by acquiring Las Vegas Dentistry.
14. Sarasota, Fla.-based Dental Care Alliance added Chandler-based Lakeview Dental Care to its network.
15. Dallas-based Smile Doctors added Grinz Orthodontics, which has three practices in Arizona.
16. Affordable Care, a DSO based in Morrisville, N.C., continued its expansion with the opening of an Affordable Dentures & Implants location in North Phoenix.
17. Irvine, Calif.-based Smile Brands has opened a Bright Now! dental practice in Laveen, Ariz.
18. Brident Dental & Orthodontics, an affiliate of Sonrava Health, opened its first practice location in Albuquerque, N.M.
