Where a PE-backed DSO stands 2 years after formation

Chicago-based private equity firm Thurston Group launched Gen4 Dental Partners in August 2021.

Here is how the organization has grown since its formation: 

  1. In 2021, the DSO added practices in Kansas and Missouri.  
  2. Rob Mullins joined Gen4 Dental Partners as COO in April 2022.
  3. The company expanded into four new states in 2022.
  4. Gen4 Dental Partners has added several practices in Nevada, Arizona, Indiana, Ohio, New Mexico, Tennessee and Utah so far in 2023. 
  5. The DSO now supports 41 practices in the U.S.
