The DSO is a portfolio company of Silver Oak Service Partners. The new continuation fund is managed by Silver Oak and supported by new and existing investors, according to a Feb. 3 news release.

Since Silver Oak’s first investment in 2017, Smile Partners has completed more than 75 affiliations and expanded into four new states.

The Silver Oak General Partnership reinvested the entirety of its capital investment and proceeds from the recapitalization back into Smile Partners.

The DSO’s management team and base of dentist partners retained a significant ownership share through the transaction.

Smile Partners supports more than 100 practices, the release said.

At the Becker's 5th Annual Future of Dentistry Roundtable, taking place September 14-15 in Chicago, dental leaders and executives will gain insights into emerging technologies, practice growth strategies and the evolving landscape of dental care delivery, with a focus on innovation, patient experience and operational excellence.
