Here are three highlights.
1. Heartland Dental’s gift will go toward supporting the university’s Community Ambassador Scholarship program.
2. EIU’s Community Ambassador Scholarship program encourages high school students in the area to stay in the area, continuing their education at the university.
3. More than 20 EIU partners have donated to the scholarship program, which now totals more than $100,000.
