Heartland Dental plans to build 107 practices this year: 4 things to know

Effingham, Ill.-based Heartland Dental plans to open 107 practices this year, the DSO said Jan. 18.

Four things to know:

  1. The DSO added 424 practices in 38 states in 2021, expanding its network to support more than 2,300 doctors in more than 1,550 offices.
  2. Heartland Dental plans to continue adding group practices and regional DSOs, but will focus on increasing its single-practice affiliations in 2022.
  3. The organization anticipates 100 percent growth in practices built from the ground up in 2022.
  4. The DSO said it plans to open practices in several states, including Florida, Idaho, Georgia, North Carolina and Texas.
