Effingham, Ill.-based Heartland Dental plans to continue expanding its network in Florida after receiving a permit for the construction of a 4,260-square-foot practice in St. Augustine, the Jacksonville Daily Record reported April 21.
The new office, which is estimated to cost $660,000, joins several other Heartland Dental-affiliated practices in St. Johns County. The permit follows another issued to the DSO in July 2025 for a $1.2 million office.
Heartland Dental also received a permit in January for the construction of a Jacksonville office with a project cost of $873,620. Additionally, the DSO will open Duck Creek Dental Care in Middleburg, Fla., Aug. 19.
