- Western Dental and anchored denture company Renew partnered to build surgery centers in California and Texas.
- Sonrava Health, a multispecialty health and wellness company, became the new parent company of Western Dental.
- Western Dental opened three dental offices in California. It also acquired Mid-Atlantic Dental Partners, a DSO with 215 dental offices in 17 states.
- Vikash Jhunjhunwala was appointed the company’s senior vice president of finance.
- Western Dental teamed up with the NFL Alumni Association-Southern California Chapter, Walgreens and Water and Power Community Credit Union to offer free COVID-19 and flu vaccinations and COVID-19 antigen testing before Super Bowl LVI.
