Hackensack, N.J.-based MAX Surgical Speciality Management is an oral surgery-focused management services organization supporting more than 30 practices in five states.
Here is what the company accomplished in 2025:
1. MSSM added two practices in New York, including its first practice in New York City: New York Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and Dental Implant Center and Central Park Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in New York City.
2. The MSO partnered with three Pennsylvania practices: Greater Philadelphia Oral Surgery; Lebanon & Lancaster Oral Surgery Group; and Rothman and Kim Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.
3. MSSM added Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery of Westfield in New Jersey.
4. The organization secured a $77 million senior credit facility in April to fuel the company’s growth and expansion.
5. The company added Margo Freedberg, DMD, as medical director, and Sung Hee Cho, DDS, MD, as chief medical officer.
6. The organization’s providers cared for more than 90,000 patients.
7. MSSM achieved 32% growth within its surgeon network and 31% growth in practice locations.
