Mid-Atlantic Dental acquires DentalOne

Plymouth Meeting, Pa.-based Mid-Atlantic Dental Partners has acquired DentalOne Partners, according to an Oct. 21 news release

In an all-cash deal, Mid-Atlantic Dental Partners purchased the equity of DentalOne’s operating subsidiaries.

Plano, Texas-based DentalOne Partners is one of the first and among the largest national DSOs in the country, with about 150 affiliated offices across 13 states. After the acquisition of DentalOne, Mid-Atlantic Dental Partners will have more than 240 affiliated offices in 18 states.

“Being part of a larger organization will give us the opportunity to access new resources and accelerate and improve practice support and initiatives,” David Marks, DentalOne’s president and CEO, said.
