Oral surgery platform buys back ownership stake from private equity firm

Lincoln, Neb.-based Paradigm Oral Health has completed a surgeon-led buyback of BlackRock Long Term Private Capital’s majority ownership stake.

BlackRock Long Term Private Capital acquired a majority interest in the group in 2022. The buyback returns majority control of the company to its surgeons and management team with backing from a new investor group led by Warburg Pincus, alongside Goldman Sachs Alternatives and Sixth Street, according to a July 23 news release.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Founded in 2018 by David Rallis, DDS, MD, Paradigm operates more than 170 facilities in the U.S. with a team of more than 220 surgeons.
