After integrating the first EHR system in April 2020, the DSO has now fully integrated Epic’s EHR system into all of its supported practices, according to an Aug. 24 news release.

Epic’s EHR system is used by hospitals, healthcare systems and medical schools to manage patients’ health.

“Whether the patients of PDS’ supported practices go to the dentist’s office, a clinic or a hospital, their providers can now review their dental history along with the rest of their medical history from one record in Epic,” Founder and CEO of Epic Judy Faulkner said in the release.

Pacific Dental Services has more than 885 supported practices across 25 states.
