The DSO opened three practices in a single location in Henderson, Nev.: Union Village Modern Dentistry, Union Village Kids’ Dentistry and Union Village Medical Group. Services offered at the practices include primary medical care, oral healthcare, preventive medicine, chronic disease management, sleep studies, and medical and surgery clearance.
The practices include medical professionals who understand the link between oral health and overall well-being, according to an Aug. 3 press release. These clinicians include dentist Sarah Oweis, DMD, and physician Elena Garcia, MD.
The three practices will also use Epic, a health records system that will allow healthcare providers to more easily exchange patient data.
Pacific Dental Services was founded in 1994 and has a network of more than 800 supported dental offices nationwide.
