San Francisco-based Cliff Ridge Specialty Partners has acquired two practices in New York. 

Here are recent practice additions, partnerships, openings and affiliations made by Effingham, Ill.-based Heartland Dental, Chicago-based Aspen Dental and Henderson, Nev.-based PDS Health, as reported by Becker's since Aug. 2:

Dallas-based Beacon Oral Specialists recently hit 100 offices after partnering with two practices in California and Florida.

The rates of affiliation of dentists into group practices continues to accelerate. According to data from DSO DataCONNECT, three states are showing 40+ percentage affiliation rates, and an additional 12 states have rates in the 30+ range.

Chicago-based Aspen Dental opened a practice location in Culpeper, Va., according to a Sept. 10 report by Culpeper Times.

Jonesboro, Ark.-based GPS Dental has added eight practices in five states.

Bridge Dental Group recently added three New Mexico practices to its network. 

Dallas-based DECA Dental Group recently launched a joint venture ownership program for dentists under its Ideal Dental brand.

Over a dozen DSOs have expanded their networks in states along the eastern coast within the last few months, including Heartland Dental, Dental365 and Affordable Care.
