PDS Health Technologies, part of Henderson, Nev.-based PDS Health, has partnered with the University of Michigan School of Dentistry to implement Epic for integrated healthcare.

Through the Epic Community Connect program, the University of Michigan will add PDS Health’s customized EHR system tailored for dental workflows, according to a Nov. 25 news release.

PDS’ Epic platform is used by several academic institutions and healthcare organizations, serving 13 million patients in the U.S.

PDS Health has pioneered the use of Epic in dentistry, becoming the first DSO to integrate medical and dental care with the platform in 2022.

At the Becker's 5th Annual Future of Dentistry Roundtable, taking place September 14-15 in Chicago, dental leaders and executives will gain insights into emerging technologies, practice growth strategies and the evolving landscape of dental care delivery, with a focus on innovation, patient experience and operational excellence.
