California, Pennsylvania and Texas were the states where DSOs and dental groups were most active with practice additions, acquisitions and openings during April.
Those states saw at least two DSO moves in April, as reported by Becker’s:
California
- Southlake, Texas-based Allied OMS added three oral surgery practices to its network in California.
- Irving, Texas-based U.S. Oral Surgery Management partnered with Douglas J. Valentine DDS Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in Grass Valley, Calif.
- Salt Lake City-based SPP Dental Partners added its first orthodontic practice, partnering with Daniel Hulme, DDS, and his practice in Santa Cruz, Calif.
Pennsylvania
- Hackensack, N.J.-based Max Surgical Specialty Management partnered with Rothman and Kim Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, which has a location in Philadelphia.
- New Hyde Park, N.Y.-based Dental365 acquired a dental practice with three locations throughout Pennsylvania.
Texas
- Chicago-based Phase 1 Equity added a Texas orthodontic practice to its network.
- Chicago-based Aspen Dental opened a practice location in Corsicana, Texas.
