Georgia Board of Dentistry gains 11th member

J. Don Spillers Jr., DMD, has been appointed to the Georgia Board of Dentistry.

The responsibility of GBA members is to regulate and enforce practice standards and protect public health in dentistry, according to a Jan. 31 press release. Dr. Spillers is one of 11 members of the GBA.

Dr. Spillers is the former president of the Georgia Association of Orthodontists and the Central District Dental Society. He also owns Spillers Orthodontics, which has locations in Warner Robins and Macon.

Dr. Spillers is a fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy. He has membership with the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association, the Southern Association of Orthodontists and Smiles Change Lives Provider.
