Mr. Gomez has served Dentsply Sirona since 2019 as executive vice president and CFO, according to an April 11 news release from Moderna.
The current CFO of Moderna, David Meline, will retire and remain with the company as a consultant during the transition.
Mr. Gomez’s new role is effective May 9.
