6 dental leadership moves

Stony Brook University appointed a dean for its dental school and five other dental leadership moves took place in the last two weeks:

  1. The Stony Brook (N.Y.) University School of Dental Medicine appointed Patrick Lloyd, DDS, its dean, effective July 1.
  2. LightForce Orthodontics appointed Frank Quinn its chief revenue officer. 
  3. Henry Schein named Dirk Benson its vice president and chief commercial officer of its North America distribution group. 
  4. Identity Dental Marketing tapped Lee Duke to be its chief strategy officer. 
  5. Norma Desjardins, DMD, was elected president of the Maine Dental Association Board of Directors.
  6. SmileDirectClub added Linda Williams to its board of directors.
