Grand Rapids, Mich.-based Spectrum Health appointed its chief dental officer and five other dental leadership moves from the past two weeks:
1. Kaz Rafia, DDS, was appointed chief health equity officer at the CareQuest Institute for Oral Health.
2. National Dentex Labs selected Bob Joyce as its CEO and added him to its board of directors.
3. Spectrum Health named Everod Coleman, DMD, its chief dental officer.
4. Patrick Louis, DDS, MD, was named the Charles A. McCallum Chair of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry.
5. Jeffrey Schultz, DDS, was appointed to the Georgia Board of Dentistry.
6. Healthcare networking app vTail added Brad Rand as its dental director.
