Dr. Blake was elected as second vice president of the organization three years ago and will succeed current president Jill Burns, DDS.
In his role, he will be responsible for directing advocacy efforts and be in charge of the board of trustees’ quarterly meetings, the report said.
The Indiana Dental Association has more than 3,000 members and serves more than 83 percent of dentists in the state, according to its website.
